Email support@eightpointlabs.com. Include the app name, version, phone model, Android version and what you expected to happen.
Check Area8’s reminder and notification settings, then Android’s notification permission and battery restrictions for Area8. A date already in the past appears as overdue instead of firing a backlog of reminders.
Dictation needs Android 12 or newer and a ready on-device speech recognizer and language pack. Area8 does not fall back to online transcription. Typing works everywhere.
Open Settings, Privacy and data, then Backup & restore. Create a backup and save it somewhere private that you can reach from the new phone. New backup files are not encrypted. On the new phone, restore the file and review the merge or replace choice before confirming. Older encrypted files still require their original password, which we cannot recover.
Area8 does not currently synchronize records between phones. Use a backup file to move your records.
Free covers one store and includes Daily recap and Week in review PDFs. Pro is an optional one-time Google Play purchase. Use the Google account that bought Pro to restore the purchase on another phone. The price shown by Play before purchase is authoritative.

Keryx 1.0.1 is available on Google Play. Visit Keryx support for account checks, synchronization, reminders, Premium restore and the existing refund policy. Its privacy policy and data removal guide are separate from Area8’s.
Kept 0.1.0 is in private internal testing, with no public Play release yet. For test feedback, include the source or article URL and what failed. Downloaded content is available offline; unfetched pages and media still need a connection. WebDAV sync is optional and uses the server you configure. See Kept privacy.
